M4 crash near Swansea: Live updates as traffic queues for six miles

There are long queues on the M4 near Swansea following an accident blocked part of the carriageway. The accident is from J45 A4067 (Ynysforgan) to J46 A48 Clasemont Road (Llangyfelach).

The congestion stretches back to J44 (Llansamlet). Congestion is trailing back to to J44 at Llansamlet which is around six miles with traffic cameras showing gridlocked traffic in the area.

Traffic is slow on the opposite side too.Cameras show traffic is passing slowly between the junctions but there is a partial restriction in place.
