Swansea City 2-2 Millwall: Swans score two own-goals in injury time to capitulate once again

Swansea City conceded twice in injury time as they drew 2-2 with Millwall. The hosts were rampant from the word go and led after just 56 seconds courtesy of a Ryan Manning strike. They went two up soon after as Michael Obafemi got his account for the season up and running with a driven effort. But shortly after Harry Darling turned into his own net in injury time, a Nathan Wood own goal saw Swansea throw away two points after another capitulation.Russell Martin made three changes following Saturday's 1-0 win at Blackpool, with Joe Allen earning his first start since re-joining the club in the summer.

He replaced Jay Fulton while Nathan Wood and Blackpool goal hero Olivier Ntcham came in for Ben Cabango and Matty Sorinola. Prior to kick-off, all in attendance paid tribute to the late Len Johnrose who sadly passed away at the age of 52 on Monday morning following a battle with motor neurone disease. The hosts made a dream start as they went ahead inside a minute.

Ntcham rose to head into the path of Manning who drilled across goal, and, despite the best efforts of goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski, the Irishman's driven strike went in off the post.It typified what was to be an electric opening from Martin's men who dominated from the outset.

And they should have gone two goals up with just four minutes on the clock when Bialkowski palmed Ntcham's rifled effort into the path of Joel Latibeaudiere who could only poke over from close range. The energy and confidence was flowing through the Swansea ranks, although they survived a real scare as Jamie Shackleton's pile-driver rattled Andy Fisher's crossbar on nine minutes.
