Sunday sport: Dublin and Kerry to face off in All-Ireland women's football final

Dublin and Kerry contest the 50th All-Ireland Ladies Senior Football Final today. Throw in at Croke Park is at 4pm. Kerry have not won the Brendan Martin Cup in 30 years.

Dublin's last title was claimed in 2020. Proceedings begin with the Junior final involving Down and Limerick from 11.45am. The Intermediate decider is between Kildare and Clare and that starts at 1.45pm.

Chelsea and Liverpool kick off their Premier League seasons today. Chelsea were 12th last term and are now managed by Mauricio Pochettino.

Liverpool failed to qualify for the Champions League last season. That game kicks off at Stamford Bridge at 4.30pm. Tottenham Hotspur begin life without Harry Kane away to Brentford in the first game of the day from 2pm.

Pakistan Hockey Federation Bans Five Formers Players For Trying To Make Separate Federation
The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday imposed a life ban on five former Olympians for trying to form a parallel body. PHF President Tariq Bugti said that former Olympian and internationals Nasir Ali, Khalid Bashir, Saleem Nazim, Abbas Ali and Haider Ali had been banned for life. "The PHF found them guilty of trying to run a parallel federation, stealing PHF records and using funds from a PHF account without approval," Bugti said. Since last year after Brigadier (retd) Sajjad Khokar was forced to resign as PHF chief after being in power for more than two terms, a power-struggle is going on between two groups to take control of the PHF.
