Stirling Albion home league record ends at ten months as pace-setters edge out Binos

Fortress Forthbank was finally breached on league business on Saturday - but Stirling Albion boss Darren Young insists his side’s performance left much to be confident about.

The Binos were looking on for an excellent point against Falkirk after Aaron Dunsmore cancelled out Ross MacIver’s early strike as the half-time oranges were being cut.

But a late mistake allowed the chance for Brad Spencer to rifle home a winner for the jubilant Bairns five minutes from time and keep up their unbeaten league start.

For Stirling, it was another reminder of the razor-thin margins at League One level but it was still a display where much positivity could be taken ahead of a trip to Kelty Hearts on Saturday.
