Gerwyn Price was subjected to merciless 'sheep s******' chants from the crowd at the World Grand Prix with Sky forced to drown out the noise.

The Iceman was up against good pal James Wade in the second round clash of the tournament in Leicester. A spot in the quarter-finals was up for grabs for this one with Price hammered 3-0.

Tensions started to boil over in as early as the first set with the Welshman letting out some loud roars in celebration but his rival would get pay back in the fifth and decisive game of the opening set as Wade turned with the fist pump and let out a big cheer to the fans in attendance.

The heckling from outside the oche then took over on more than one occasion with the X-rated chants aimed towards 'The Iceman' clearly audible on the coverage of the contest.
