Sizzling second half sees Griquas down Western Province in Cape Town

An incredible second half in which they scored 32 unanswered points saw Griquas secure an impressive 32-13 win over Western Province at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday evening.Province took a 13-0 lead into half-time thanks to two penalties from flyhalf Kade Wolhunter and a converted try from winger Fazeel Robertson.The second half was a different affair, however, and by the 57th minute, Griquas had surged into a 22-13 lead.That was thanks to tries from Eddie Fouche, Reagan Oranje and Jay-Cee Nel.George Whitehead converted two and added a penalty as Griquas had turned the game on its head.

Whitehead stepped up again in the 68th minute to land another penalty and push the lead out to 25-13. The visitors were full value for their bonus point, which they secured on the stroke of full-time thanks to a converted try from lock Derik Pretorius.
