Manchester will say goodbye to one of its most beloved adopted sons on Monday as a memorial service is held in honour of Sir Bobby Charlton.
The Manchester United icon died at the age of 86 on October 21 and will be laid to rest on Monday. A private funeral service will be held at Manchester Cathedral at 2pm and the ceremony will celebrate the life and incredible legacy of not only an England and United legend, but a husband, father and grandfather as well.
The procession to the cathedral will pass by Old Trafford and the Trinity statue for a final farewell and fans will have the opportunity to line the streets and say goodbye.
Charlton made 758 appearances for United and won the European Cup in 1968 as well as the World Cup with England in 1966.
