Drivers are facing queues on part of the M60 near Stockport following a 'multi-vehicle crash'. All traffic has been stopped on the clockwise carriageway between junctions 24 at Denton Island and 25 at Brinnington.
Emergency services have been called out to the scene. A spokesperson for National Highways North West posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Traffic is currently stopped on the #M60 clockwise between J24 #Denton and J25 #Bredbury #GreaterManchester due to a multi vehicle collision.
"Emergency services are on scene. Delays building on approach." The incident was reported at around 10.25pm tonight (November 13).

Eyewitnesses have reported the motorway being 'gridlocked' approaching the scene. One told the Manchester Evening News there are 'loads of police and ambulances' at the scene.
The eyewitness added: "We are stuck... not moving at all." Greater Manchester Police has been approached for comment.
