Shocking picture shows wrecked vehicle after four car smash on M56 - the occupants walked away

This is the wreckage of a car involved in a ‘four-vehicle collision’ on the M56 tonight (November 20). The crash saw the motorway partially blocked on the eastbound side between junction 3 for Princess Parkway and junction 4, the Wythenshawe interchange.

It led to long queues at roughly 8:30pm. Even though one car was reduced to a wreckage, its occupants walked away with only minor injuries, according to North West Motorway Police.
