Sevilla are close to agreeing a deal with Manchester United for youngster Mateo Mejia. Mejia's contract expires at the end of the season and Sevilla are close to striking an agreement to sign him permanently on a free transfer.
The Manchester Evening News understands clauses will be built into the deal for United's benefit and an agreement with the Spanish club is getting closer.

The youngster has played in the academy during his time in Manchester and hasn't made a first-team squad. Mejia joined the club in the summer of 2019 from Real Zaragoza and he's made 12 appearances for the Under-21s this season, contributing three goals and five assists.
