Servette boss Rene Weiler will be denied the services of SEVEN players due to injury and suspension as he looks to pull off another against-the-odds Champions League qualifying win against Rangers at Ibrox on Wednesday night.
The Swiss side face a mounting early season injury crisis as they fly into Glasgow with third thirds of a team crocked and striker Enzo Crivelli unavailable after his senseless red card in the second leg of their second qualifying round tie against Genk left them with all to do in Belgium.
But they managed to pull it off with a backs-to-the-wall performance earning them a 2-2 draw before going into to win a dramatic penalty shootout.
The display was all the more remarkable given the fact they lost first choice goalkeeper Jeremy Frick on the night and journeyman shot-stopper Joel Mall went between the sticks and became a shutout hero.
