Scotland boss Gregor Townsend has appointed Jonny Gray as vice-captain for their Six Nations clash against Ireland at Murrayfield on Sunday.

Former Cambuslang hero Jonny joins brother Richie in the line-up, both of whom are from East Kilbride, and replaces suspended Grant Gilchrist, who was sent off in the defeat against France two weeks ago.

Scotland's record try-scorer Stuart Hogg will win his 100th cap, the fourth men's player to reach that tally. Exeter Chiefs lock Jonny Gray will become one of Scotland's top-10 most capped players, as he features for the 76th time.

Scotland host Ireland and Italy to conclude this year's Six Nations, having defeated England and Wales before losing to France.
