Ryan Kent 'unhappy' at Fenerbahce as former Rangers star faces exit farce after crisis summit sparks rising tensions

dailyrecord.co.uk

Misfit Ryan Kent is reportedly "unhappy" at Fenerbahce following crunch talks with boss Ismail Kartal sparked by the former Rangers winger being dropped from the Turkish giants’ squad.

Kent had made an early impression in Istanbul after leaving the Scottish Premiership at the end of his Ibrox contract during appearances in the Super Lig and Europa Conference League.

But he was then left out of the squad entirely before the international break in the 1-0 win over Ankaragucu. It was a second blow for the Englishman who failed to make an appearance off the bench in the midweek Euro clash with FC Twente the Thursday – and Kartal openly admitted he had told the forward to raise his levels in training to earn a spot in the squad.

FotoMac report that following the crisis talks the 26-year-old will not be included in the side that takes on Antalyaspor this Sunday.
