Roy Hodgson provides update on Michael Olise's future amid Man City transfer interest

Roy Hodgson has refused to rule out the sale of Michael Olise as Manchester City continue to monitor the winger. Pep Guardiola's side could be in the market for a wide player after selling Riyad Mahrez to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.

That has created a vacancy on the right wing. Olise has been linked with a move to Chelsea and City, with MEN Sport reporting last week that the Blues are considering a move for the Frenchman following Mahrez's exit.

City are plotting their next moves in the market after signing Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig last week. Speaking about Olise's future, Hodgson could not confirm he would be at Crystal Palace when the window closes next month.

He admitted there is uncertainty about where he will play his football next season. READ MORE: Pep Guardiola unhappy with Man City treatment for Newcastle game Hodgson told Sky Sports: "No one knows at this moment.
