I watched Casemiro and Manchester United make three unforgivable errors in Crystal Palace collapse

Manchester United were thrashed 4-0 at Crystal Palace on Monday as they sunk to a new low at Selhurst Park.

Erik ten Hag's side have now suffered a club record 13 defeats in the Premier League and are on course to miss out on Europe for the first time in a decade. United could still qualify for the Europa League via winning the FA Cup, but their chances of beating Manchester City at Wembley appear remote.

At least three of the Palace goals were preventable and down to sloppy defending from United who were chasing shadows throughout a torturous 90 minutes. Next for Ten Hag's team is league leaders Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

It is hard to see any way back for Casemiro at United. The Brazilian was superb last season but his decline in 2023/24 looks irreversible as injuries and age appear to have caught up with the Brazilian.

The Palace forwards had a field day at Selhurst Park with Casemiro looking shellshocked. It will be best for United to move the defensive midfielder on in the summer with the 32-year-old likely to cost United more points in the future.
