Besiktas have revealed the key numbers behind Ridvan Yilmaz 's transfer to Rangers. The 21-year-old Turkey international has signed a five-year deal with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side, becoming the manager's seventh signing of a busy summer.

Rangers have quickly reinvested the club record fee they negotiated with Ajax for Calvin Bassey as Yilmaz joins Ben Davies as the second of two left-side defensive additions.

The youngster comes highly-rated from the Super Lig side, with Champions League experience and six full international caps to his name, plus 62 senior appearances for the the Black Eagles.

He emerged through Besiktas' academy over a 10 year period and the club, keen to emphasise the profit made on one of their hottest propsects, have broken down the deal in a statement on their official website.
