Richard Madeley asks Good Morning Britain viewers for help as issue leaves Judy in spare room

Richard Madeley was left appealing for Good Morning Britain viewers' help as he returned to the programme with details of his wife Judy Finnigan having to sleep in their spare room.

The presenter was back fronting the ITV news programme on Monday (May 1) alongside Charlotte Hawkins, who has replaced Susanna Reid at the helm for the Bank Holiday show.
