Antony has praised Casemiro, Fred, Lisandro Martinez, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot and David de Gea for helping him settle into his first year at Manchester United.

United signed Antony from Ajax in a deal rising to €100million (£85.5m) last summer and the player's debut season has been a mixed bag, as there have been glimmers of talent but he's only been able to contribute eight goals and three assists.

Erik ten Hag was desperate to sign the 23-year-old, but there was a feeling the club were investing such a large transfer fee into him because of his potential and the player that he could become, not the winger he currently is. Me and Casemiro are always hanging out, we're always doing something. “I’ve settled into the city and I’m loving life here. I hope I can spend a long time here.
