It comes two weeks after the 21-year-old finished in the same position in the Olympic 400m, just missing out on a medal. It was a competitive field with seven of the eight finalists from the Olympic final competing in Poland.

Sarah Healy was fifth in the 1,500 metres while Nick Griggs finished 12th in the men's 3,000 metres. Norway's Jakob Ingebrigtsen smashed the world record to win the race.
