Rangers transfer chat is beginning to intensify and one of the main names on the lips of fans right now is Dutch striker Kevin van Veen.

The 32-year-old is currently with Groningen in the Dutch second tier after a stunning campaign for Motherwell last term had him netting a record-breaking 29 goals for the Steelmen.

He claimed recently that Rangers were interested in him while Michael Beale was manager prior to his return to Holland, but now the Fir Park hero wants to return to the country he was in six months ago after his Scottish partner gave birth.

It's been claimed in Holland that Rangers are again on the hunt for Van Veen but there has been nothing concrete to suggest any legitimate Auchenhowie interest as of yet.
