Liverpool have held a long-term interest in Bukayo Saka, and a new update has now emerged from a reliable source regarding the player’s future.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are in talks to negotiate a new contract with the young forward. The transfer insider tweeted: “Bukayo Saka’s contract extension has always been priority for Arsenal, talks are still ongoing with his agent in order to reach full agreement on long term deal.
Saka’s happy with Arsenal project, discussing on salary details.” The Reds have been linked with a move for the Gunners youngster for a number of months and were reportedly willing to make a move this summer.
If Liverpool’s interest in the 20-year-old is genuine, then FSG must act now to secure a deal before Saka commits his future to Arsenal with a new contract which could hinder their opportunity to lure the player from the Emirates Stadium.
