Premier Sports Cup draw LIVE as Celtic prepare to join Rangers in the last eight hat

Teams are set to find out their fate after reaching the quarter-finals of the Premier Sports Cup. And it is the holders Celtic who will have a target firmly on their back as they look to retain their crown after being Hibernian in December, but must get past Ross County first.

Rangers, who lost in last season's semi-final, are already in the draw after seeing off Queen of the South. And while the Glasgow heavyweights have bigger fish to fry in the Champions League in the coming weeks, the League Cup presents a big chance for the likes of Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee United to vie for some silverware.

Dundee, Partick Thistle and others will look to summon the spirit of St Johnstone's incredible double winning season and upset the odds in the competition. Record Sport will have all the details as the names are drawn out the hat and you can follow the last eight draw here LIVE!

This is a different year for the Premier Sports Cup schedule. While these next round of fixtures will be played in October, the final showdown at Hampden won't be until February, a few months after the usual slot of December.
