Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a man was attacked twice in one night in Oldham. The attack happened near the junction of Heron Street and Little Town at around 8pm on Thursday, March 9.

Police said the man was assaulted after an 'altercation'. He fled the scene but returned back a short time later to find his personal items.

A post on the GMP Oldham Facebook page said: "#APPEAL | GMP Officers appeal for further information after an assault in #Oldham. "On Thursday 9 March 2023 at around 8pm, officers received reports of an assault of a man close to the junction on Heron Street and Littletown in Oldham.
