Police have identified a woman who died near the M56 following multiple appeals to find her loved ones. The woman's body was found near a bridge near junction five of the motorway at around 2:40am in the early hours of Monday, July 31.

Police were initially called to 'reports of concern for her welfare'. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, she sadly died.

They released pictures of her distinctive jewellery and some belongings she had with her at the time in the hope of finding her family.
