Manchester City attacker Phil Foden has insisted that his partnership with teammate Erling Haaland is only going to improve over the coming months.
The England international scored a first career hat-trick as Pep Guardiola's side secured a 6-3 victory over rivals Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
Norwegian striker Haaland also scored three times as City ran riot at the Etihad in the 188th Manchester derby. Haaland's hat-trick was his third of the campaign so far, with the 22-year-old scoring 14 goals in eight Premier League appearances since his summer switch from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
Foden believes that City's triumph over United demonstrated his and Haaland's exciting potential as a pair, with the Englishman praising his teammates' impact since his move to the Etihad Stadium.
