Perth High School are Scottish Senior Shield champions. The Fair City students rose to the occasion at the national stadium, Hampden Park, to defeat Holyrood Secondary School on Friday evening.

A bumper crowd of fellow pupils, friends, parents and supporters from back home pitched up to cheer the team onto success. Kacper Prześlica gave them plenty to cheer about by opening the scoring for a solitary goal advantage at half-time.

But Holyrood levelled proceedings after the break and that sent the game straight to penalties. The High held their nerve to clinch the trophy following spot-kick delight, sparking joyous celebrations on the field of play and in the stand.
