Pep Guardiola sees another Man City dream come true as his 'icon' Julia Roberts makes amends for brutal snub

dailyrecord.co.uk

What a couple of days to be Pep Guardiola. Straight off the back of a Champions League win that sealed a famous Treble for Manchester City, he's now got the acknowledgement he has long been craving from one of his "icons"...Pretty Woman's Julia Roberts.

Guardiola was left devastated when the Hollywood star, who he named as one of three people he looks up to, snubbed City to attend a United game earlier this year.

Guardiola puts her up there with Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods and after his side thumped RB Leipzig to make the Champions League semi-finals, he joked he'd feel like a failure even IF they went all the way.

But that certainly won't be the case now as less than 24 hours after he did lift that trophy in Istanbul, Roberts has stood up to applaud.
