Nathan Ake could return to the Manchester City squad to face West Ham on Wednesday, but the Blues are still sweating over the fitness of Kevin De Bruyne.

Ake trained with the rest of the squad on Monday and is set for another session on Tuesday afternoon, but while De Bruyne is moving more freely he hasn't yet returned to training.

City train at 4pm on Tuesday for the final time before facing West Ham and De Bruyne will need to come through that session to stand a chance of being involved.

The Belgian was absent from the City squad for the win at Fulham on Sunday having felt some discomfort during the midweek success against Arsenal.
