Pep Guardiola has 'personally targeted Josko Gvardiol' and other Man City transfer rumours

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly personally targeted RB Leipzig centre-back Josko Gvardiol for the summer transfer window.

Gvardiol made an impact for his Bundesliga side last week when he scored the equaliser in the Champions League round of 16 first leg against City.

However, the Croatian has been impressive for much longer than his most recent European outing. The 21-year-old was one of the standout players at the Qatar World Cup and was marginally pipped to the Young Player of the Tournament award by Enzo Fernandez.

Gvardiol has been tipped to become the most expensive defender in the world and City are being linked with bringing him in as a replacement for Aymeric Laporte.
