In his pre-match press conference, Pep Guardiola was adamant that he would be focusing on Leicester City and not the upcoming Champions League quarter-final second leg at Bayern Munich.
Many would forgive Guardiola if he had half an eye on next week's task. City will expect Bayern to show a reaction at the Allianz after Tuesday night's collapse and even with a three-goal cushion the Blues will be wary.
However, the last meeting against the Foxes was proof enough for Guardiola that they cannot look further ahead than the next fixture.
The Blues took the three points at the King Power thanks to a stunning Kevin De Bruyne strike but it could have been a lot different.
