Pep Guardiola is reportedly 'a massive fan' of Anthony Gordon as Manchester City look to strengthen their squad in the last week of the transfer window.
According to Sports Illustrated, the City manager is believed to be a serious admirer of the 21-year-old who has attracted interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea this summer.
It is believed that Gordon would be an ideal replacement for City winger Riyad Mahrez - the player turned 31 this year. However, Guardiola's interest in the player will not make a potential deal any cheaper for City.
Everton are thought to be holding out for a fee of up to £60million after the club rejected an initial £40million offer from Thomas Tuchel's side.
