Erling Haaland said his partnership with Julian Alvarez at Manchester City is "really important" as he heaped praise on his new teammates at the club.

City's Norwegian striker has had an exceptional start to life in Manchester. Haaland has scored 10 Premier League goals, including two hat-tricks, in just six games and already comfortably leads the race for the golden boot.

The 22-year-old has also added two Champions League goals to his tally at City, after the Blues beat Sevilla 4-0 earlier in the week.

Many fans saw Haaland as the final piece to the puzzle that will see them lift the elusive European trophy, something that has evaded Pep Guardiola since his arrival at the club.
