Former Manchester United star Patrice Evra gatecrashed a live TV broadcast to reveal how a bust-up with a Manchester City staff member stemmed from him claiming his old rivals ’s*** themselves’ when they blew their advantage against Real Madrid last season.

Pep Guardiola’s men lost two stoppage time goals in the Bernabeu last to miss out on a place in the Champions League final against Liverpool but got revenge on the Spanish giants with a swashbuckling display against the men from Madrid at the Ethiad as they blew Carlo Ancelotti’s men away with a 4-0 romp to secure a place against Inter Milan in Istanbul.

Evra was involved in a heated exchange at full-time with Guardiola and his assistant assistant Manel Estiarte even having to calm the situation down.

The Frenchman spent eight trophy-laden years at Old Trafford and he walked onto the pitchside set of American channel CBS where presenter Kate Abdo was presenting.
