Old Trafford murder: Man, 21, stabbed to death after 'running to help friend who was being attacked'

A 21-year-old man at the centre of a murder investigation in Old Trafford is believed to have been fatally stabbed while 'helping his friend who was being attacked', police believe.

Salah Eldin Adam was tragically killed on Kings Road on Wednesday night (May 31). Police were initially called to a 'disturbance' at 7.45pm.

In an update issued today, Greater Manchester Police confirmed Mr Adam died as a result of serious injuries after being 'assaulted with knives'.
