One day Odin Thiago Holm will probably hope to take his shirt at Celtic. But, for now, the young Norwegian is lapping up every day that Matt O’Riley is still at Parkhead.
Speculation has been rife about the midfielder’s future with the Hoops rejecting a transfer-window bid from Atletico Madrid.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers insists O’Riley is going nowhere – for the moment at least. And even if he’s willing to do business in the summer, the club’s hierarchy will be looking to bank around £25million.
Holm isn’t at O’Riley’s level yet. But the 21-year-old says working with the Danish international every day is improving his game.
