Jack Butland insists it was an easy decision to snub a permanent contract offer from boyhood club Manchester United in favour of joining Rangers.
Butland was one of three players to join United on loan in January, following the return of Martin Dubravka to parent club Newcastle United.
The 30-year-old failed to make a single appearance for the Reds, with David de Gea an ever-present between the posts - although he was named on the bench for last month's FA Cup final.
The goalkeeper's loan was effectively ended after defeat to Manchester City at Wembley, with the club confirming just days later that he would join Scottish Premiership side Rangers.
