Howe and his coaching staff have run the rule over Anderson in Newcastle's friendlies against 1860 Munich and Mainz 05. The 19-year-old delivered an impressive performance in the Premier League side's 1-0 loss to Mainz 05 yesterday.
Several clubs, including the Owls, are interested in taking Anderson on a season-long loan next season should the forward be allowed to leave St James Park on a temporary basis.
But Howe insists he has yet to make a decision on Anderson's future. Howe said: “He did well again. I thought he showed an ability to turn in those tight areas, it was a congested pitch centrally.
