Netflix fans are wishing they could 'unsee' the platform's latest series Obsession following an unusual scene which left them 'disgusted.' Erotic thriller Obsession, which is set in London, dropped on the platform on Thursday (April 13).

The four-part series sees Richard Armitage in the role of William, an esteemed surgeon who becomes infatuated with his son's fiancé Anna, who is played by Charlie Murphy.

The pair first meet at a party where sparks fly and they decide to meet up again in private. A steamy affair ensues, with William becoming increasingly more obsessed with Anna after every encounter.

Creator Morgan Lloyd Malcolm has explained that even though the series is based on the 1990s book Damage by Josephine Hart, the Netflix series doesn't strictly stick to its original plot.
