Striker Conor Wilkinson admits Motherwell’s confidence has taken a dent amid their 11-game winless streak, but hopes they can finally end their rotten run with two bites at the cherry this week.
For the second week running, the Steelmen required an injury-time equaliser to avoid defeat as Wilkinson netted in the seventh minute of stoppage time to help the 10-man hosts take a point off Dundee on Saturday.
Motherwell had taken the lead through Mika Biereth inside six minutes, before Lyall Cameron struck on the half hour mark and then Owen Beck scored four minutes later to turn the game on its head.
Bevis Mugabi popped up to make it 2-2 in 68 minutes, only for Motherwell’s task to become more difficult when Harry Paton saw red four minutes later.
