West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus praised his side's defensive discipline before springing on the counter-attack to beat Manchester United 2-0 on Saturday.
United saw the optimism from last week's 0-0 draw at Liverpool dissipate during another toothless attacking performance at the London Stadium.
West Ham kept it tight before two goals in six minutes from Jarrod Bowen and Kudus delivered a sucker-punch to Erik ten Hag's men.
United did dominate possession and territory up until Bowen's 72nd-minute opener but only registered three shots on target and were deserving of defeat in the end.
