Met Office issue huge thunderstorms weather warning for large parts of UK tomorrow

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms that covers Greater Manchester. The warning is set to come into place at 9am tomorrow (Saturday) and last until 11.59pm.

It covers all of our region, as well as much of England and Scotland. Forecasters predict heavy showers and thunderstorms to hit following a warm and sunny day today.

There might also be some power cuts in the areas hit by the storm. After a largely sunny day today in our region, with temperatures reaching 27C this afternoon, showers are forecast from around 9am tomorrow.
