Senator John EnohPresident Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday, named Senator John Owan-Enoh as the country’s new Sports Minister.He replaces Sunday Dare, who ruled the sports sector during the second tenure of immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari.Senator Owan-Enoh is an APC chieftain, who became very visible during the last general elections when he took the party to court over the conduct of Cross River State gubernatorial primaries.After losing the ticket to Senator Bassey Otu, he challenged and lost the case at both the high court and the Court of Appeal.He was later compelled on by President Tinubu, then the APC presidential candidate, to drop the case and work in the interest of the party.Explaining his decision to heed Asiwaju Tinubu’s appeal, Ewah-Enoh said, “The public appeal by the presidential candidate and National Leader of our party is such a humbling experience, which I cannot ignore under any circumstances.”The 57-year-old Owan-Enoh had his early Education at St.
