Arsenal signing another winger or forward alongside Gabriel Jesus in the transfer window must be considered a necessity. Mikel Arteta needs an extra goal source in his team to further support the forward line in the next campaign.
Raphinha seemed to be the answer to fill this void but a deal has fallen through. According to Spanish news outlet Fichjaes, The Gunners have targeted Club Brugge Winger Noa Lang as the Plan B to Raphinha.
Despite the promising potential Lang possesses, he is not the answer for the Gunners. Alongside doubts about immediately being able to adapt and contribute with goals, the previous criticism about his attitude certainly would not make him favourable under Arteta.
Lang has been impressive for Brugge since his move to the Belgian side in 2020. However, he has not shown the quality which would improve Arteta's firepower at Arsenal.
