Brondby chief Carsten V. Jensen has declared that Mathias Kvistgaarden will NOT be sold this month amid interest from Celtic.
The Danish striker has been subject to firm interest throughout the last two transfer windows and it's an offer worth more than £4m was reportedly rejected in the summer to take the 21-year-old to the Scottish Premiership.
Brondby have been keen to hold onto him and were repaid with seven goals and seven assists so far this term - with the club in the midst of a three-way fight for the Danish Super League title with Copenhagen and leaders Midtjylland.
And the club are doubling down on that stance and appear unwilling to allow the key player to leave amid the winter break. Jensen was quizzed by Danish outlet Bold over the potential sale Kvistgaarden with Brendan Rodgers' side and Schalke heavily linked with a January approach.
