Celtic have been told they won't get Brondby forward Mathias Kvistgaarden for cheap as the Danes have slapped a fresh price tag on their prize asset.
Brendan Rodgers sparked intrigue among the Hoops support when he called for 'quality' additions to his squad after they crashed out of the Viaplay Cup at the first time of asking against Kilmarnock.
The Irishman has overseen the recruitment of six new players including Gustaf Lagerbielke and Maik Nawrocki in defence, but reports suggested the Scottish champions were keen on the 21-year-old Kvistgaarden but would have to stump up some cash for his services.
Now in a fresh update, Ekstra Bladet report that Brondby have set the bar at £5.9million for the attacker. Reports suggested a lower price tag of £4million was the standard, but Bladet say the Danish side have told interested suitors of their real valuation.
