Manchester United are set to be without Christian Eriksen until the middle of December after he was ruled out for a month with a knee injury.
The midfielder, who has been forced to pull out of the Denmark squad for their upcoming European Championship qualifiers against Slovenia and Northern Ireland, was forced off in the closing stages of the first half of Saturday's 1-0 win over Luton Town at Old Trafford.
He was replaced by summer signing Mason Mount five minutes before the half-time interval. Mount slotted into United's midfield-three, joining forces with Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes, helping the Reds record a fourth win from their last five Premier League outings.
Though his performance wasn't glittering, he did play a key role in the build-up to Victor Lindelof lashing home the winning goal.
