HOHENSTEIN-ERNSTTHAL, Germany : Spaniard Jorge Martin won the German Grand Prix for Pramac Racing after a thrilling duel with Ducati's reigning MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia of Italy on Sunday.The pair crossed the line just 0.064 of a second apart, their bikes also touching in the heat of battle two laps from the chequered flag.Martin's French team mate Johann Zarco completed the podium at the Sachsenring circuit as Ducati riders filled the top five places and eight of the top nine.Bagnaia's championship lead was cut to 16 points as Martin, winner of the Saturday sprint, celebrated a weekend double and his first grand prix victory since the Styrian round at Austria's Red Bull Ring in August 2021.

Marco Bezzecchi took pole position at the Dutch Grand Prix after a superb Q2 display in a record lap time at Assen. The Mooney VR46 rider's time of 1:31.472 ensured he would take pole for Saturday's sprint and main race, becoming the 13th different pole sitter in the last 13 races on the circuit. Ad Bezzecchi took his place at the top of an all-Italian podium, as reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati finished 0.061 seconds further adrift after eight laps, while Mooney rider Luca Marini was 0.158 seconds back in third.
