Manchester United secured a second consecutive win to cement their place in the top-four on Saturday, cruising past Everton in a game that ended 2-0 but could have been much more.

Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial got the goals either side of half-time, but United had countless first-half chances and could have been four or five up by the break.

The Old Trafford crown also enjoyed the return of Christian Eriksen, who was introduced in the 77th minute after being out since January with an ankle injury.

The victory was somewhat tainted, however, when Marcus Rashford pulled up with what looked to be a groin injury. The 25-year-old signalled instantly to the bench before limping down the tunnel, Erik ten Hag admitting after the win that it 'didn't look good'.
