Manchester United marked the passing of club legend Sir Bobby Charlton with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane last night.
Goals either side of half-time from Scott McTominay and Diogo Dalot secured a vitally important three points for Erik ten Hag's side, who paid tribute to Charlton ahead of kick-off.
The former United captain died at the age of 86 in the early hours of yesterday morning, his family said in a statement. Both United and the Blades wore black armbands, and Reds skipper Bruno Fernandes laid a wreath in tribute ahead of a minute's applause.
United supporters in the Bramall Lane away end also produced several renditions of 'There's only one Bobby Charlton' throughout the evening.
