Manchester United have sent scouts to watch young midfielder Otto Rosengren of Swedish side Mjallby, the club's sporting director has claimed.
The 19-year-old has two goals in three Under-21 caps for his country and is a regular for his Allsvenskan team, having played 37 first-team games since making his debut in November 2021.
The teenager is also attracting interest from Danish and Dutch clubs. Erik ten Hag is searching for a young midfielder this summer along with a marquee centre-forward.
No official approach for Rosengren has been made although United scouts are said to have watched the youngster several times.
